BMW G87 M2 — VT700 & VT800 Stage 2
From 510 BHP to as much as 800 BHP
Harder acceleration. Stronger pull through the gears. A more distinctive M exhaust note.
Our VT700 and VT800 packages take your M2 beyond Stage 1 while retaining its original turbos. Choose VT700 with upgraded downpipes and a midpipe , or step up to VT800 with ethanol flex-fuel tuning.
Tuning from £750 including VAT — ECU unlock included free if required. Hardware, installation and flex-fuel upgrades are priced separately through the package options.
VT700 — 700 BHP | +190 BHP
A substantial performance upgrade paired with a more pronounced exhaust note.
VT700 combines our Stage 2 calibration with suitable upgraded downpipes and a midpipe , helping your M2 pull harder as the revs climb.

VT800 — 800 BHP | +290 BHP
Take your original-turbo setup further with ethanol flex-fuel tuning.
VT800 builds on the VT700 exhaust upgrades, adding a flex-fuel sensor and the required MHD licence to support tuning on a E40 ethanol blend.
The sensor measures the ethanol content in your fuel, allowing the flex-fuel calibration to respond to the blend. The 800 BHP output requires the appropriate ethanol blend—it isn’t achieved on ordinary pump petrol alone.
Required setup: upgraded downpipes, suitable midpipe, flex-fuel sensor and MHD licence.
Choose the package that matches the parts and software you already own. We’ll advise on the correct fuel blend for your setup.
Gains shown are against the 510 BHP factory specification. Output depends on fuel, ethanol content where applicable, vehicle specification, condition and testing conditions.
Proven development experience
Our S58 shop car now runs at 1,500 BHP . Earlier in its development, we achieved 1,020 BHP on the standard engine without issue. That hands-on experience informs our approach to VT700 and VT800.

In-house or remote tuning
In-house: Visit our Colchester workshop for custom dyno tuning, with hardware installation available through the package options.
Remote: VT700 tuning is available through supported platforms. VT800 flex-fuel tuning requires MHD. You’ll also need compatible flashing equipment.
ECU unlock: Included at no extra cost. If you’re unsure of your ECU’s status, select “ECU unlock required”.

Gearbox tuning
A common complaint with the s58 is the delayed slow shifts with gearbox. All this potential for power but its important the gearbox can allow that power to be transferred to the wheels quickly and effectively. Using XHP with our custom settings works perfectly for Stage 1 and Stage 2 cars and those with higher power or racing we are able to provide fully customised gearbox mapping allowing the gearbox to handle high torque levels and maintaining crisp shifts.
